Concrete Drainage

Concrete manhole rings are available in DN 900 to DN 4000 and are manufactured IN 250mm height increments with tongue and groove joints and comply with BS EN 1917/ BS 5911-3. A corresponding range of heavy-duty, reinforced concrete cover slabs are available to cap the manhole chambers as well as to provide a base for any regulating brickwork prior to finishing with the manhole lid.

Various jointing options available and we offer an extensive range of precast flexible joints from DN 300 to DN 2400, including bends, junctions and shorter lengths for rocker and butt pipes.

Specialist concrete products available to order include;

• Precast concrete household inspection chambers are available in a variety of depths, with tongue and groove joints to BS EN 1917:2002/BS 5911-4:2002. 

• Concrete chamber bases are a prefabricated manhole base unit with integral benching, channels and connectors, that provides an immediate and long-lasting watertight solution in the management of wastewater.

• Concrete pipe is available to meet classes of exposure to sulphate attack, with vertical casting using vibration to compact a semi-dry concrete mix and manufactured to BS EN 1916 and kitemarked.

• Elliptical pipes, with their internal profile being hydraulically efficient are ideal for foul and surface water drainage, plus the external polygonal profile offers excellent structural strength.

• Concrete box culverts, providing high flow capacities when used for storm and foul sewers, highways, tunnels, subways, stream crossings, as well as acting as alternative attenuation tanks. 

• Precast concrete road gullies and covers are extremely robust and ideal for both domestic and heavy-duty use.
